Lathes are manufactured with maximum accuracy and minimum tolerances. The material from which the lathes are made are being carefully selected. These lathes are suitable for single & mass production work. These lathes are made under the supervision of an engineer who has engaged himself in the manufacture of machine tools for the last 26 years. The improved designed machine is well finished in all respects with high precision accuracy. These are designed for individual drive as well as counter shaft drive in order to meet the present day demand of all classes of industry.
BED: Is of V-shape and made of alloy casting, making it hard and long lasting. It is seasoned before use, with the result that its strength accuracy and durability are maintained to high standard. New system webs are internally reinforced which enables it to resist the pressure of cuts without vibrations. These have a generous gap with a removable gap piece to admit a large wide work.
HEAD STOCK: Is fitted with 4 step flat V-Belt Pulley with conventional back gears giving 6 speeds to the spindle. The spindle is made of special steel and precisely ground to fine limits. The hollow spindle is made of special steel and precisely ground to fine limits. The hollow spindle runs in a pair of split gun metal adjustable bearings or a pair of taper roller bearing. A thrust bearing is fitted on spindle which takes the end thrust.
CARRIAGE: Is of robust design and has machined T-slots to take up huge boring work. The sliding surfaces are scrapped with hand. The swivelling compound slide is graduated and has a four way steel turret tools post.
APRON: Houses the cluster of gears for the reversible automatic feeds to the carriage. Special attention has been given to the lubrication of gears and bearings.
TAIL STOCK: Is of robust construction and can be set over for taper turning. This is of quick locking type.
FEED BOX: Is arranged for three speeds with feed shaft on front side. The gears of feed box are of steel and are cut on hobbing machine.
